Thanks for your comment. I have been using SAM CLI, version 1.56.1 while I'm preparing this guide. I have just upgraded it to latest version 1.57.0, and it is still working.

The problem must be related with environment, which operating system do you use? I have tested repo on MacOs Monterey

And also created a branch (glibc) to fix the error on github (https://github.com/hakankutluay/debug-lambda-go.git). I couldn't reproduce the error so I'm not sure if it will fix it or not.
